Acrobatic Gymnastics

Acrobatic Gymnastics is a striking, dynamic and spectacular sport for both men and women. The sport consists of 2 floor routines and focuses highly on co-ordination between partners, striving to achieve immaculate display of dynamic throws and static balance skills in the partnership. Partners work together to gain trust with each other, to attain amazing gravity-defying skills.

Partnerships consist of:

• Pairs  (2 athletes)
• Trios (3 athletes)
• Men’s Groups (4 athletes)

Competitions are held in Mackay, Gladstone, Emerald and Brisbane. There is also the opportunity to qualify for State and National Competitions.
