Gym Mix is an introductory program that teaches all aspects of gymnastics including, Women’s Gymnastics, Men’s Gymnastics, Acrobatics, Trampolining, Acrobatics and Rhythmic. We focus on the fundamental movement patterns that will help kids to then progress into more advanced skills or activities. The games and activities in our Gym Mix class are designed to teach the fundamentals of gymnastics, while also developing strength and flexibility.
Generally, gymnasts will complete at least 1 term of Gym Mix to master the basic skills required before moving into a specific discipline of their choosing. There are 8 levels to be achieved within this program and gymnasts are tested throughout the term. Gymnasts will be offered a trial into the next class towards the end of each term.
Classes are split into Gym Mix Junior (Grade 1-8years) and Gym Mix Senior (9years+).
